About the region
Grown in the picturesque Santa Rosa region of Guatemala, this coffee is meticulously cultivated and harvested at high altitudes, contributing significantly to its remarkable taste.
The “SHB” designation signifies that the coffee is grown at elevations exceeding 1,200 meters above sea level, often reaching up to 1,800 meters. This high-altitude cultivation results in a slow cherry maturation process, which enhances the beans’ flavour complexity. The Santa Rosa region, nestled within the southwestern highlands of Guatemala, provides an ideal microclimate for coffee production.
Guatemala SHB Santa Rosa Arabica coffee is known for its bright and vibrant acidity, a medium to full body, and a flavour profile characterized by a harmonious blend of fruity, nutty, and chocolatey notes. It often boasts a clean and well-balanced cup, with a pronounced sweetness and floral undertones. A fantastic coffee to use in your blends.
